It’s a busy week around here! I’m just embarking on a couple of very different and very cool mix projects. I just turned in a first mix for an indie garage pop band from Rhode Island called The Ampersands … and now I’m starting a first mix for a dreamy alternative pop act from London [...]

We just finished the first of many West Coast legs of Shannon’s touring. It went great; there’s a really good foundation there for the building we plan to do over the next 5 months. Next time I’ll try to post about it *before* we leave. Sigh. Sorry, been busy. :)

It’s a cool song; heavy, druggy drum programming with drum-and-bass loops over a valium disco underpinning, skeletal distorted sampled choir, raspy synth basses, and soaring, angular vocals. Avant-garde, interesting stuff. Stay tuned on this one …
